Anti-Bribery · ISO 37001 · Section 17A
Anti-bribery compliance, built by a practitioner — not explained from a book.
ABMS helps Malaysian organisations implement ISO 37001, meet MACC Act Section 17A, and prepare for the CIDB G7 mandate — led by someone who ran the implementation inside a regulated business, not a consultant reading from the standard.
Why this matters now
Section 17A made bribery a corporate liability. The G7 mandate put a deadline on it.
Since 2020, MACC Act Section 17A has held organisations criminally liable for bribery committed by anyone acting on their behalf. The only defence is having adequate procedures in place — and ISO 37001 is how that defence is evidenced in practice.
From 2027, CIDB will require every G7 contractor to hold MS ISO 37001 certification to renew registration. Implementation takes six to nine months, so the work has to start now. ABMS exists to make that pathway clear, proportionate, and audit-ready.
